Kyla received her undergraduate degree in International Studies at Pepperdine University and obtained her law degree from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University of America. During law school, Kyla worked with international organizations to conduct on-the ground investigations into war crimes committed by terrorist organizations in Iraq. In addition to this experience, she was an editor on her school’s Journal of Law and Technology and published an article on the use of artificial intelligence to prevent illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing practices in Marine Protected Areas.
After law school, Kyla clerked at the Alaska Superior Court, where she gained invaluable insight into the Alaska judicial system. This insight and her legal experience allow her to work with Alaskans who are seeking practical solutions to complex legal issues.
Kyla currently resides in Texas to support her partner’s military career. Outside of her legal practice, Kyla enjoys climbing, running, and baking sourdough.
